Glenn Morasch - President, Global Centre for Leadership & Safety Excellence

GCLSE’s President and Co-founder has 40+ years professional experience beginning in the Production area of the Oil and Gas Energy industry, then moving into the HSE portfolio, holding various operational and management positions throughout. The Energy industry touches most aspects of business within society, ranging from the expected, service sector, to more subtle areas, including manufacturing (both large assembly line and small scale fabrication), engineering design and municipal infrastructure planning, to name a few.  Glenn considers himself extremely fortunate to have worked with leaders in all aspects of industry.

Joining Global Training Centre in 2003 as a facilitator in the Leadership division, Glenn continued to share his passion for Safety Leadership by assisting leaders in dealing with the challenge of achieving “safe” production.  This life long personal pursuit, personal experiences, both rewarding and catastrophic lead to his creation of the “4 Values of Business” model.  This is a foundational component of all the aspects within the GCLSE suite of Leadership Development tools offered.

Glenn’s rich understanding of HSSE Management systems structure, functionality and intent has also been key when working with GCLSE Vice President, Dwayne Rae, developing the extremely effective 4 stage leadership development process. The process marries leadership behaviors to management system results and yields consistent, significant performance improvement. This system is not only effective in HSSE, but in all areas of business performance for the clients GCLSE is privileged to work with.

Glenn has worked developing Safety Leaders for valued clients across the globe and is driven in knowing the GCLSE approach works to help people help themselves, each other to ultimately preserve and enhance life and health.

Dwayne Rae - Vice President, Global Centre for Leadership & Safety Excellence

GCLSE’s Vice President and Co-founder has 25+ years professional experience in Forestry, Aviation and Oil and Gas, primarily in production management. Dwayne joined Global Training Centre in 2008 as a facilitator to the Leadership division where he began to share his passion for Safety Leadership, quickly establishing himself as an engaging and motivational speaker. Not afraid to open up group discussions for the sake of reality and pragmatism, Dwayne has a knack for challenging participants to acknowledge how they are “actually performing or behaving” versus “how people want us to believe they are performing”.

As one of the founders of Workplace Excellence (GCLSE’s previous title), Dwayne played a paramount role in developing tools and scorecards used by GCLSE participants to measure behaviours and behavioral choice impact that reflect the perspective of their work team.  In partnership with GCLSE President, Glenn Morasch, he is also responsible for creating a four-stage model that fosters self-awareness and self-management through collaboration, and behavioural adaptation through feedback, ensuring prolonged success post-program.

He has worked developing Safety Leaders for valued clients such as Suncor, Shell, Encana (Ovintiv), Petronas (Malaysia) , Husky, Occidental USA, California Resource Corporation, Chevron, Ras Gas (Qatar), LNG (Papua New Guinea), Esso (Angola), Black Sea Exploration Program (Turkey) and many other stops across the globe. He continues today as a proud member of the GCLSE Executive Working Group.
